The 12th MasterclassBudapest is underway

The 12th MasterclassBudapest has begun! Today was the first rehearsal with the excellent MÁV Symphony Orchestra, marking the start of another intensive week of conducting and music-making.
This year we received 60 applications, from which 10 active participants were selected. They represent a remarkable range of young talent — our youngest participant is just 14 years old. At the centre of it all is Maestro Jorma Panula, going strong, sharing his experience and unmistakably direct approach with the next generation of conductors.
With a great orchestra, exciting repertoire and ten talented participants, the first rehearsal already promises an inspiring week ahead.
